| Shelly is well known for her innovative use of vintage materials to paint on. Her beautiful florals, fruit or barnyard animals are likely to be found on miniature canvases, vintage window panes and frames, doors, boxes, and even large pieces of furniture like chests and dressers. For more traditional tastes, she also works with the standard fare of artists canvas or artists board. Often her work on canvas or mirror is contained within a vintage picture frame.
Shelly is a self taught artist living in upstate New York with her husband and twin daughters. She works in a studio/barn on their property. Shelly and her work is often seen at art shows as well as being offered through select galleries and dealers. A schedule of upcoming shows will be available soon.
